What is global church planting?
In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commanded us to “Go then and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and the Son an do the Holy Spirit.” We believe that discipleship happens in the local church. Our ministry is connecting church families around the world, building church buildings, and supporting and training pastors to be a light to their communities and a beacon of hope to those who desperately need it. These church buildings are allowing God’s Word to go forth and bringing safety to those in need.
Who are Mac and Lynne Hammond?
Mac and Lynne Hammond founded Living Word Christian Center in 1980 in Brooklyn Park, MN. They serve as senior pastors and have done so for over 44 years. In 2022, they started planting churches across the world and have committed to plant 50 churches within five years.
What does it mean to become a partner with Mac Hammond Ministries?
No gift is too large or small. Our partners make it possible for us to reach communities for Jesus, help get children off the streets and into safe places of worship, and bring God’s love to those in need. Partners receive a monthly partner letter (or email) with updates on what is going on around the world in our church plants, as well as a small gift as our way of saying thank you.
What is The Winner’s Way broadcast?
The Winner’s Way is a weekly broadcast that has been on the air in various forms since 1990. It is hosted by Mac Hammond. This is our way of providing guidance for those who don’t yet know Jesus and discipleship for those who want to continue growing in their faith.
Will you plant a church in the US?
At this point, we are focusing on international churches.
Where do you currently have church plants?
Dominican Republic, Ireland, El Salvador, Guatemala, Venezuela, Bolivia, Colombia, Uruguay, Congo, Ethiopia, and soon in Mexico.
Can I help you plant churches in other nations?
Yes! Your financial gifts, prayers, and partnership make it possible for us to build churches across this globe. We are building churches that it could take 15–20 years for communities to try to build on their own.
What does it mean to be in the Flight Club?
Flight Club is one of our partnership levels, and it is for those who have given $1,000 or more over any period of time. Flight Club members receive a Winner’s Minute devotional, two MHM mugs, and a bag of Jet Fuel coffee.
What is the Captain’s Circle?
Gifts that total $200,000 or more over any period of time will move into our Captain’s Circle tier partnership. That is enough to sponsor the building of a complete church, support outreaches, and we will post a plaque on that church in your honor. If you’d like, you’ll also be able to fly to visit the church you helped make possible.
Can you plant a church in my nation?
Right now, we have a lot of connections within our current network of relationships and our building schedule is very full. You are welcome to fill out this form if you’d like us to keep your information on file, in case an opportunity opens in the future.
